Restarting the blog

After a bit of a break (I'll just blame it on recovering from the completion my third decade on Earth), I'll be restarting my blog. Since I have gotten requests for more personal updates (you know who you are), I'll include things that occur in my life although I can't guarantee that they will be numerous or exciting.
